Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies and global megatrends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain Horizon Labs' 10-year strategic innovation pipeline
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Translate foresight insights into product development roadmaps and investment priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and senior leadership
- Monitor and analyze competitive disruption vectors across industries
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight or scenario planning preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience leading cross-organizational innovation initiatives
- Portfolio published foresight work or strategic frameworks
