Responsibilities
- Analyze global trends across technology, geopolitics, and demographics to identify opportunities and threats for 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for long-term organizational resilience
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and business models
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on future vision and execution
- Monitor emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic integration
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impact
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in futures research (e.g., CFTR) or innovation management
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
