Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology strategy for 2026-2030 horizon, aligning with business objectives
- Identify emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead 15+ cross-functional teams across engineering, R&D, and product divisions
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling business cases
- Partner with VCs to scout and acquire disruptive startups
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching 3+ commercialized innovations
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Executive experience presenting to boards and investors
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
