About the Role
As the architect of our technological future, you'll identify emerging trends, assess their strategic implications, and develop implementation frameworks that position Nexus as an industry pioneer. Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) and develop 5-year strategic implementation plans
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Establish technology forecasting frameworks using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage a $10M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Champion ethical technology adoption frameworks for responsible innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to connect technical concepts to business value
- Experience presenting to C-suite and investment committees
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from Singularity University)
