Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems (quantum algorithms, AR/VR ecosystems)
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech opportunities through competitive analysis and patent research
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futuristic technologies into product roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to investors and stakeholders at industry conferences
- Manage R&D partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Establish KPIs for measuring adoption and ROI of experimental technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or Web3 infrastructure
- Proven track record of launching disruptive tech products (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Fluency in technical implementation alongside business strategy
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding
