Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and advanced AI
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $15M+ annual R&D budget allocation for frontier technologies
- Mentor next-generation technologists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for frontier technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent journals
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, Julia)
- Global network of technology innovators and venture capitalists
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and NIST innovation frameworks
