Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030, anticipating industry shifts and regulatory changes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, AI governance frameworks, carbon-neutral tech stacks)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential in biotech, fintech, and climate tech
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-backed ROI projections and risk assessments
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against quarterly strategic milestones
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate technology adoption
- Champion ethical tech development and sustainability principles across all innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven experience in emerging tech ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation management
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech architectures
- Track record of launching products that achieved $50M+ ARR or equivalent market impact
- Certification in futures thinking (e.g., Foresight Practitioner, Strategic Foresight Institute)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology transformation initiatives
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scenario planning methodologies
