Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology strategy for 2026+ horizon, aligning with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research in nascent tech sectors
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory impacts on future innovations
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record in launching future-focused products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or conferences
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
