Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify opportunities for 2026 and beyond
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovation with business objectives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting future implementation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on technology adoption timelines
- Author thought leadership content positioning company as future-tech authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management preferred
- Experience presenting to executive teams and influencing technology investment decisions
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making approach
