Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Secure $5M+ in federal/state innovation grants and strategic partnerships
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing patentable IP for next-gen platforms
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech disruptions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and R&D incubation programs
- Represent company at global tech summits (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech strategy or R&D leadership
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of securing $1M+ in innovation funding
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience with government innovation programs (DARPA, NIH, etc.)
- Strong network with VCs, research institutions, and industry consortiums
- Ability to translate complex tech concepts into executable strategies
