Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology strategy roadmap by analyzing emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate disruptive innovations into core business operations
- Establish partnerships with leading research labs, startups, and academic institutions
- Develop ROI models and risk assessments for experimental technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly reviews and pivots
- Build and mentor a high-performing futurist research team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or venture innovation
- Proven track record implementing emerging technologies at scale
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/neurotech)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in emerging tech assessment (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle methodology)
