Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Analyze market gaps and competitive landscapes to position our technological advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D investments in emerging technologies with 5+ year horizons
- Ensure alignment between technological capabilities and customer needs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced robotics
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or ventures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Master's degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Certification in technology forecasting or innovation management (e.g., CTO, CDIO)
