Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, Web3, synthetic biology) to assess commercial viability and strategic alignment
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology adoption roadmap for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for R&D collaboration
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting future tech deployment
- Drive pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with measurable ROI tracking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Strategic consulting or executive experience in Fortune 500 tech companies
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech investment analysis and ROI forecasting
- Exceptional communication with ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- PhD or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business preferred
