Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps and strategic implementation plans
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring future-readiness and innovation velocity
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record of launching future-facing technologies (blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 100+ in high-growth environments
