Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise multiple dogs simultaneously in various neighborhood settings
- Provide basic pet first aid and respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Maintain detailed digital records of pet behavior, health observations, and service logs
- Administer medications and follow specialized care instructions as provided by pet owners
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or dog park visits using company vehicles
- Market services locally through social media and community engagement initiatives
- Participate in monthly pet care training workshops and certification programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience with references
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Current Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk up to 8 miles daily in desert climate
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and report writing
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data plan
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to ethical pet care practices
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required
