Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable dog walking services for 3-8 dogs per group
- Administer medication and special care instructions as required
- Document pet behavior and activity in our mobile app
- Maintain clean, secure handling of leashes, treats, and waste bags
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via daily photo/video updates
- Adhere to all city leash laws and safety protocols
- Participate in seasonal pet enrichment activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Availability for weekday mornings/afternoons and weekend shifts
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Strong understanding of dog body language and breed traits
- Excellent time management and punctuality
