Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling techniques
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup) during outings
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each client's pets
- Adapt walks to individual dogs' energy levels and behavioral needs
- Transport dogs to/from veterinary appointments or daycare (as needed)
- Attend quarterly training sessions on animal behavior and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs and manage group dynamics
- Reliable transportation with climate-controlled capability
- Strong communication skills and tech proficiency
- Availability for weekend/evening shifts
