Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 1-3 dogs at a time in designated San Jose neighborhoods
- Administer medications and special care as specified by pet owners
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs and client communication
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or dog parks when required
- Practice strict safety protocols for handling animals in public spaces
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Adhere to all local leash laws and park regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Exceptional time management and reliability
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Passion for animal welfare and safety awareness
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
