Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in various Columbus neighborhoods while maintaining control and comfort
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and enrichment activities
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed care logs and client communication via our app
- Handle waste cleanup and maintain equipment hygiene
- Adapt schedules to accommodate client needs while honoring your availability
- Transport pets to/from appointments when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with pet-safe transport
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong time management and reliability with flexible availability
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Background check and clean driving record required
