Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in groups or one-on-one settings
- Administer medication and provide basic pet care as needed
- Maintain detailed client communication logs and pet activity reports
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming services
- Ensure all animals are hydrated, exercised, and comfortable
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for animal handling and transport
- Build trust with clients through exceptional service and reliability
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
