As a Full-Time Dog Walker, you will play a vital role in the health and happiness of our furry clients. You will ensure that every dog receives the attention, exercise, and love they deserve while their owners are at work or traveling. Responsibilities
- Lead energetic group and solo dog walks tailored to the breed and energy level of each pet.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets during outings by monitoring for signs of distress or illness.
- Administer medication and follow specific feeding instructions provided by pet parents.
- Provide exceptional customer service by sending real-time updates and photos via our client app.
- Monitor pet behavior and report any unusual changes to the care team or owners immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding animal handling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care, dog walking, or animal handling is preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle with current registration and insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods throughout the day.
- Strong knowledge of basic dog behavior, body language, and safety protocols.
- Must be available for early morning shifts and weekend availability.
- Excellent time management skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
