Responsibilities
- Safely walk 4-6 dogs simultaneously in designated Nashville neighborhoods using company-provided equipment
- Monitor dogs for health/behavior changes and provide detailed post-walk reports via mobile app
- Administer basic care (medication, feeding) as specified in pet care plans
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and owners through consistent, compassionate care
- Maintain strict safety protocols during walks and transport
- Collaborate with team on scheduling and client communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience (certification preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean record (company vehicle provided)
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to walk 5+ miles daily in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of canine body language and behavior
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
