Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs of all sizes and breeds in diverse environments
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care per client instructions
- Monitor pets' health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed digital records of services and client communications
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming sessions when required
- Implement positive reinforcement training techniques during walks
- Ensure all pets remain secure and comfortable during all services
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or pet care experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable insured vehicle for pet transportation
- Strong physical fitness and ability to handle large dogs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
