We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and reliable Dog Walker to join NOLA Paws & Walks in the vibrant city of New Orleans. If you love dogs and enjoy an active lifestyle, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and happiness of our furry clients while providing exceptional customer service to our pet parents.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily group and solo dog walks for clients throughout New Orleans.
- Ensure the safety and physical well-being of all dogs during excursions.
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or injury and report immediately.
- Provide basic obedience training (sit, stay, come) during walks.
- Keep clients updated via our app with photos and activity logs.
- Collect and return pet supplies, waste bags, and any other client items.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and walk 2+ miles in any weather.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
