Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs (1-3 per group) in designated Irvine neighborhoods and parks
- Provide personalized care based on each dog's specific needs and temperament
- Maintain accurate client records and service logs via our mobile app
- Administer basic medications (with proper training)
- Transport clients to/from veterinary appointments if required
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions and outings
- Report client concerns and maintenance issues promptly to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Availability Monday-Saturday with weekend flexibility required
- Clean background check and TB test required
