Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs individually or in small groups (max 4 dogs)
- Administer medications and monitor pet health during walks
- Maintain detailed client records and service logs
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app
- Transport dogs to/from vet appointments and daycare when needed
- Attend weekly training sessions on pet safety and best practices
- Uphold strict cleanliness standards for leashes, water bowls, and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking/pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and client relationship management
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of dog behavior and basic training principles
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
