Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling and group management techniques
- Provide personalized care for pets including feeding, medication administration, and playtime supervision
- Maintain detailed digital records of pet behavior, health observations, and service delivery
- Build strong client relationships through daily communication and photo/video updates
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all interactions with animals and in public spaces
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required for full-time coverage
- Assist with additional pet services including pet sitting and transportation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and service coordination
- Physical ability to walk dogs in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of dog behavior and breed-specific handling preferences
