Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise multiple dogs simultaneously in Scottsdale's neighborhoods and parks
- Provide personalized care based on individual dog needs (temperament, energy levels, medical requirements)
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to pet parents promptly
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication via our mobile app
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, route planning, and client onboarding
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for pet handling and emergency procedures
- Represent Paws & Play with professionalism and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to walk 5-8 miles daily in varying Arizona weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS capability
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to continuous learning
- Must pass background check and drug screening
