Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, espresso beverages, and tea selections
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and genuine hospitality
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the barista station and customer areas
- Operate and troubleshoot espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless daily operations during peak hours
- Upsell bakery items and seasonal promotions to enhance customer experience
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and inventory management procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista or customer service experience
- Proficiency in espresso preparation, latte art, and beverage customization
- Strong knowledge of coffee bean origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Excellent communication skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
