Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages while maintaining strict quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service through personalized interactions and product knowledge
- Operate POS systems, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate daily sales records
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and uphold cleanliness across all café stations
- Train new team members on brewing techniques and customer engagement protocols
- Develop seasonal drink menus and participate in coffee-tasting events
- Collaborate with shift supervisors to optimize peak-hour operations
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience in a high-volume environment
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Proven ability to multitask during peak hours while maintaining quality service
- Excellent communication skills with a warm, approachable demeanor
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions and inventory
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
