Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest services at diverse NYC venues including Madison Square Garden, Javits Center, and rooftop lounges
- Manage guest flow, check-ins, and VIP access control while maintaining professional appearance
- Execute event-specific protocols including ticket scanning, crowd management, and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with venue teams and fellow staff to ensure seamless event operations
- Assist with setup/breakdown of event spaces and equipment handling
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with poise and diplomacy
- Document incident reports and provide post-event feedback to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, hospitality, or events
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on short notice
- Professional appearance with ability to adhere to strict dress codes
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Valid government-issued photo ID and ability to pass background check
- Basic knowledge of event security protocols and crowd management
- Reliable transportation to Manhattan and Brooklyn event venues
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6+ hours) and lift 25+ lbs
