Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with circulation services, including check-ins/check-outs and account management
- Organize and maintain physical/digital library collections using established cataloging systems
- Provide technology support for public computers, printing, and digital resource access
- Conduct outreach programs promoting literacy and community engagement
- Process interlibrary loans and manage reserve material requests
- Collaborate with team members on collection development and space optimization
- Implement shelving and inventory procedures to ensure accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; library science certification preferred
- 1+ years experience in customer service or library environments
- Proficiency with library management systems (e.g., Sierra, Koha)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of digital resources and assistive technologies
- Excellent communication skills with diverse age groups
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
