Responsibilities
- Provide safe, on-leash walks and potty breaks for client dogs
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks
- Administer medications as instructed by pet owners
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments when needed
- Ensure all equipment (leashes, treats, waste bags) is sanitized and ready
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all pets in your care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (preferred)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
