Responsibilities
- Provide safe, engaging on-leash walks for 2-6 dogs simultaneously
- Administer basic pet care (feeding, medication, potty breaks)
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs for each pet
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments and grooming
- Enforce strict safety protocols during all outings
- Build rapport with pet owners through daily photo/video updates
- Attend monthly team training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Passion for animal welfare and Irvine community
- Background check required
