Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously while maintaining control and positive reinforcement
- Provide timely updates and photo/video reports to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care like feeding, hydration, and medication as needed
- Maintain clean equipment and sanitized walking routes
- Adapt walks to each dog's temperament, energy level, and special needs
- Handle emergency situations calmly and follow established protocols
- Build strong client relationships through reliability and exceptional service
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data access
- Strong physical fitness and ability to walk up to 4 dogs at once
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Knowledge of breed-specific behaviors and handling techniques
- Clear background check and clean driving record
- Passion for animal welfare and exceptional customer service skills
