Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques
- Administer basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup) during walks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each dog's health and behavior
- Adapt schedules based on client needs and weather conditions
- Build trust with pets through positive reinforcement and patience
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or daycare when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Availability during peak walking hours (10am-4pm, flexible shifts)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs with confidence
- Background check and clean driving record required
