Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event infrastructure using provided equipment (tables, chairs, signage, audiovisual gear)
- Manage guest registration/check-in using provided tablets and event management software
- Operate event-specific equipment including sound systems, lighting rigs, and interactive displays
- Enforce venue policies while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees
- Coordinate with vendors and venue staff using provided communication devices
- Assist with emergency response protocols using supplied safety equipment
- Document event activities and inventory using provided digital tools
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the US
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6-8 hour shifts)
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Reliable transportation to event locations across Baton Rouge
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic technical aptitude to operate provided equipment (training included)
- Previous event/conference experience preferred but not required
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
