Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, store hours, and services.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves during slow periods.
- Handle cash handling and maintain accurate daily sales reports.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to the store manager when necessary.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
