We're seeking passionate individuals to bring warmth and expertise to our evening operations. As a Evening Barista & Cafe Associate, you'll be the final touchpoint for our discerning clientele, delivering artisanal beverages and curated bites while maintaining our signature quality standards. This role offers flexible evening shifts (4-11 PM) in one of SF's most dynamic neighborhoods.
Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee beverages using precise techniques and premium ingredients
- Provide exceptional customer service during peak evening hours
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions with accuracy
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of barista stations and customer areas
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team to ensure seamless evening service flow
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- 1+ years of specialty coffee or high-volume food service experience
- Expertise in espresso extraction and latte art techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mentality
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced evening environments
- Flexible availability for weekday evenings and weekend shifts
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tasks
- Valid California Food Handler's Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of specialty coffee origins and brewing methods preferred
