Responsibilities
- Merchandise Receiving: Receive and unload incoming stock deliveries safely and efficiently using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming inventory against packing slips and process returns or damaged goods according to company policy.
- Shelf Organization: Stock shelves, racks, and displays with new merchandise, ensuring products are facing forward and labeled correctly.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the stockroom and sales floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Price Accuracy: Check prices on tags and ensure price scanners are functioning correctly to prevent inventory errors.
- Equipment Care: Maintain and sanitize warehouse equipment, including carts and shelving units, daily.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to a consistent work schedule.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting stock and organizing merchandise.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
- Experience: Prior experience in retail, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Valid ID: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
