- Adapt walks to individual pet needs (size, energy, medical requirements)
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app/email
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for unpredictable situations
- Complete evening/weekend shifts based on client schedules
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and pet handling assessment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 3+ hours daily
- Strong time management and punctuality skills
- Calm demeanor around large/difficult dogs
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and communication
- Must reside within 15 miles of Pittsburgh city center
