Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Lubbock neighborhoods
- Provide personalized care including feeding, hydration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs for each pet
- Administer medications as per owner instructions
- Transport pets to vet appointments or dog parks when required
- Report any health or behavioral concerns to owners promptly
- Ensure all pets are secured during walks and transport
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 3+ miles daily
- Trustworthy background check required
- Knowledge of dog behavior and basic training
- Availability weekdays and weekends
