Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups (1-3 dogs) in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as per owner instructions
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to owners promptly
- Maintain detailed daily logs of walks, feeding times, and pet observations
- Ensure all pets are secured with proper leashes and harnesses during walks
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email with updates and photos
- Clean up pet waste and maintain clean walking equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience caring for dogs (personal or professional)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Basic pet first aid knowledge or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to walk dogs in various weather conditions
- Trustworthy background check required
- Must love dogs and have patience with different temperaments
