Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds according to client instructions and safety guidelines.
- Ensure dogs are exercised properly and remain safe during the walk.
- Feed pets and administer medication if required (training provided).
- Collect and clean up after pets immediately.
- Update clients via text or app with photos and status reports.
- Report any behavioral issues or medical concerns to the office promptly.
- Secure the home environment and lock doors/windows upon departure.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with dog walking or pet sitting is preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check.
- Passion for animals and a friendly demeanor.
