Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential and park settings while maintaining control and ensuring safety
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as specified in client instructions
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns promptly to pet owners
- Maintain detailed digital logs of services rendered and pet observations
- Uphold strict cleanliness standards during all pet care interactions
- Build trust and rapport with both pets and their owners through consistent, compassionate service
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in all weather conditions
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to handle dogs up to 70 lbs
