At Riverside Paws & Walks, we prioritize the health and happiness of every dog we walk. You will be responsible for providing excellent care, ensuring safety, and giving our clients' pets the attention they deserve.
Responsibilities
- Walk & Exercise: Provide safe, timely, and enjoyable daily walks for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Monitor Health: Observe pets for any signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior during walks.
- Feeding & Watering: Ensure pets are fed according to their schedule and have access to fresh water.
- Home Maintenance: Perform light duties such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, or turning lights on/off.
- Communication: Send detailed text or photo updates to pet owners after each visit.
- Hygiene: Always carry waste bags and ensure the immediate area is clean and tidy.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous dog walking or pet sitting experience is preferred.
- Reliability: You must be punctual, trustworthy, and responsible with other people's property.
- Licensure: A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 2-4 miles per day and handle energetic dogs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion: A genuine love for animals and a patient demeanor.
