Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes on scheduled routes, ensuring they remain safe and under control.
- Ensure dogs are properly hydrated and well-exercised during each session.
- Collect and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner at all times.
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress, illness, or injury and report back to the owner immediately.
- Maintain detailed logs of walks and pet behavior using our mobile app.
- Administer medication or special instructions as directed by the pet owner.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and professional pet care standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle are required.
- Previous experience with dogs is highly preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle energetic or reactive dogs.
- Strong time management skills to ensure punctuality for all scheduled walks.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Must be available on weekends and holidays as needed.
- Completion of a background check is mandatory.
