Responsibilities
- Execute Daily Walks: Safely walk and exercise dogs of various breeds and sizes in the Minneapolis area.
- Pet Care: Ensure pets are fed, watered, and monitored for health and well-being during visits.
- Maintain Hygiene: Clean up waste immediately and maintain a clean environment for the animals.
- Communication: Provide real-time updates, photos, and video to pet owners via our app.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications to pets as directed by owners or veterinarians.
- Admin Tasks: Complete pre- and post-walk checklists and manage digital timesheets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience with dogs, specifically handling large breeds, is preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, trustworthy, and capable of working independently without supervision.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 1-3 miles per shift and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening to ensure safety.
- Love for Animals: Genuine passion for animal welfare, patience, and a gentle demeanor.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle required.
