Responsibilities
- Provide daily dog walking services (30-60 minute walks) across Nashville neighborhoods
- Administer basic pet care (feeding, medication, playtime) during client visits
- Document pet behavior and health updates via our mobile app
- Transport pets to vet appointments or dog parks (company vehicle provided)
- Attend monthly training sessions on animal handling best practices
- Build client relationships through personalized pet care reports
- Maintain clean equipment and sanitized handling protocols
Qualifications
- Must complete our 2-week paid training program (no prior experience needed)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Pass background check and pet handling assessment
- Flexible availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for scheduling and reporting
- Genuine love for animals with patience for diverse temperaments
