Responsibilities
- Execute Daily Walks: Safely walk and exercise dogs of various breeds, sizes, and energy levels for 30-60 minute intervals.
- Pet Supervision: Monitor dog behavior to ensure they are safe and comfortable during outdoor excursions.
- House Sitting & Feeding: Provide additional care including feeding, watering, and light pet maintenance when required.
- Maintain Hygiene: Clean up after pets immediately and ensure the walking area is left tidy.
- Client Communication: Provide daily updates and photos to pet owners via our mobile app or messaging system.
- Security Checks: Ensure all gates and fences are secure before and after walks.
- Adherence to Protocols: Follow all company safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience with dog walking, pet sitting, or animal care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Lov e for Animals: A genuine passion for dogs and a patient, gentle demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and able to adhere to a consistent schedule.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 2-4 miles per day and lift up to 50 lbs if necessary.
- Valid ID & Background Check: Must pass a background check and provide valid government ID.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with pet owners and the management team.
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
